 The Z1-SL14 is the newest version of the Z1 helmet.  Check out these upgraded features:

• A new technical liner that breathes much better than previous liners and is removable for washing and resizing. Pockets over both ears for audibles.
• A new ratchet closing system that now captures the chin into the helmet.
• A 2mm polycarbonate visor that you can operate with one hand.  **About your lens: There is a “sweet spot” on the lens about 2-4” down from the top of the lens. This is where you’ll look when you are in a freefall position with your helmet on. Look straight out through this area to get a sense of the lens in freefall.
• A larger face opening and peripheral vision than previous helmet versions for improved communication.
• Improved padding at the back of the neck which will be particularly noticeable in flat freefall.

The Z-1 Sl-14 is structurally aerodynamic, lightweight, practical and comfortable. These are qualities you have come to expect from the manufacturers at Parasport Italia, along with a very high standard of protection produced by using only top quality materials.

The integrated flip-up visor rotates totally out of sight without interfering with your sight under your open canopy. It's made of injection molded polycarbonate, 2 mm thick, with permanent anti-scratch and anti-fog treatments.The unique, affordable, and improved locking system can be operated with just one hand, even with gloves. 

The manufacturing technique applies injection molding of HIGH IMPACT ABS (material used to build motorcycle helmets), and involves complex machinery, combining 4 different steel molds that assure a result that is total, warranted, and consistent. The SL-14 is completed by an adjustable airtight collar made of soft, anti-allergic polyester, and a removable (and replaceable!) variable density liner, giving this helmet a comfortable fit and stability.

The chinstrap  is adjustable to adapt the collar to the different shapes and sizes. Adjustment is needed just once (as shown on the drawing), after that securing the Z1 SL-14 is easy as pulling the chinstrap and closing the clip: no further adjustment needed!

Here's the easiest way to measure for either a Z-1 or an Evo: Take a cloth tape or sturdy string and find the circumference of your head above the ears at the widest point.
