The AloXs has 3 mount styles to choose from: Wrist Mount, Hand Mount, Thumb Mount. It can be adjusted to fit the wrist or the forearm and is very stable in all positions. Different mounts are also available as spare parts, offering alternative ways to wear your altimeter.
The user interface is intuitive and the low profile buttons make operation and information retrieval easy. It may be set to use in freefall as an altimeter or a speedometer and may be programmed on the ground or while climbing to altitude. It is also possible to set an altitude correction for a dropzone different from the departing airport. Altitude correction is easy to set, and clearly shown to avoid taking off with the wrong ground reference.
The solid state, temperature-compensated hybrid pressure sensor delivers accurate altitude readings up to 33,000 feet (10.000 meters).
The case is a single piece thin, strong and water-resistant covering, making it suitable for pond swooping.
With smart electronic components, the AloXs has low power consumption and is powered by a single CR2032 lithium coin battery. The AloXs indicates when it needs a new battery and shows its current charge level on the LCD. It needs no calibration and does not need to be turned on or off.
Altitude is indicated with three large digits, showing just the amount of information you need to know.
The AloXs is able to log up to 300 jumps, recording the jump number, date, time, exit and pull altitudes, freefall time, maximum and average freefall speeds, canopy air time, and maximum speed under the open canopy. It also summarizes activity, accumulating the number of jumps, the maximum exit altitude, the lowest deployment altitude, and the maximum freefall speed.
